ACE-Step UI: Major Update - Gradio Backend, LoRA Training & More

Big update for ACE-Step UI - the open source Suno alternative that runs 100% locally on your GPU.

New backend, better music generation, multi-language support, and experimental LoRA training - all in one update. Just hit Update in Pinokio and you're good to go.

What's New

Gradio Backend

We've replaced the old REST API with a direct Gradio integration. You won't notice the difference in how you use it - Pinokio handles everything - but under the hood this unlocks:

  • Full feature parity with the native ACE-Step Gradio app
  • LoRA model loading and training support (experimental)
  • Better reliability - one less server to manage

AI Enhance

Users reported that genre tags like "pop, rock" often sounded like a ballad regardless of what you picked. We found the fix.

There's now an AI Enhance button right in the Style of Music section:

  • OFF (default): Fast generation, your tags go straight to the model
  • ON: The AI enriches your tags into a detailed music description and figures out the right BPM, key, and time signature

No extra GPU memory needed. It just adds ~10-20 seconds for much better results when using genre tags.

Multi-Language Support

The entire interface now supports 4 languages:

  • English
  • Chinese (中文)
  • Japanese (日本語)
  • Korean (한국어)

Switch languages in Settings. Everything is translated - creation panel, library, player, tooltips, and more.

Experimental LoRA Training

A new Training tab where you can:

  • Upload your own audio datasets
  • Train custom LoRA models
  • Load them directly into generation

This is experimental - we'd love your feedback on how it works.

Player Fixes

  • Play button works when no song is selected (starts first available track)
  • Spacebar play/pause shortcut
  • Skips songs that are still generating instead of getting stuck
  • "No repeat" mode properly stops at the end

How to Update

Open ACE-Step UI in Pinokio and click Update. That's it - Pinokio takes care of the rest.
